Level Master Builders
The name Level Master Builders originates from ancient building practices where a “Master Builder” managed and performed all aspects of the construction process. This individual was a complete professional, designer, and tradesman.
This aligns with Level MB’s approach to the construction process as a true, architect driven design build company. One that is reinforced by a combined 50 years’ of experience in commercial construction. Our goal is to ultimately build meaningful relationships, buildings, and communities by laying a strong foundation.

Mike Twiss, President
Mike, a life-long resident of Troy; studied Architecture at Miami University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He spent over 20 years in the fast paced environment of retail design and architecture working with national clients such as JoAnn Fabrics, PetSmart, T-Mobile, Honda, Nebraska Furniture Mart and many others. More recently he worked on various retail, commercial, hospitality and corporate projects in South-West Ohio. From this experience, Mike saw a need to deliver to clients an end-to-end solution. From the conceptual sketch to grand opening, Level MB provides true architect driven design-build services.
Mike and his wife ,Erin, are the proud parents to four wonderful children. In his spare time, Mike serves as President of Troy Reinvestment Fund (TRF), Vice-President of the Troy Christian School Board and is a Board Member of the Troy Christian Athletic Boosters.
Matt Gray, Director of Construction
Matt has 20+ years of commercial construction experience specific to the greater Dayton Ohio area. Matt started as a laborer in the field working his way up thru the trades to become a field superintendent, then on to become a project engineer, estimator and project management. Matt’s vast range of commercial construction knowledge has equipped him in working with not only the smaller shops and business owners, but also some of the regions leaders including Premier Health, Fuyao Glass, University of Dayton and GE Aviation.
Matt and his wife Kristen are proud parents to five beautiful children. Matt is a Troy native but currently resides in Pleasant Hill, OH. When they’re not out road-tripping across the US, they are spending time at sporting events, enjoying the outdoors and hanging with friends.
Meredith Lutz, Business Manager
Meredith played a vital role in Level MB’s inception by utilizing her past experience and Communications Degree in Public Relations from Miami University. Her combined experience in PR and as a previous marketing director for another commercial construction company has equipped her in managing the day-to-day office functions including the marketing, insurance, payroll and accounting services.
Meredith and her husband Eric have two children and have been lifelong residents of Troy. Meredith’s hobbies including reading, baking, running and spending time with her family and friends.
Joe Weaver, Superintendent
Lifelong resident of Greenville and past Carpentry student at the Miami Valley Career Technical School in Clayton Ohio, Joe has stayed the path. Having started in the trades with his father at a young age, Joe has worked his way up the ladder from laborer to project Superintendent, having spent most of his time in the Healthcare and Education Industry. Joe and his wife Trisha are proud parents of their daughter Selene and currently are spending their free time traveling to Terre Haute, Indiana to visit her in college. They have 3 dogs (Ozzy, Lucy, and Gabby Jo) and a cat (Black Violet) amongst other random barnyard animals. Joe enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family while making sure to carve out time for the simple things in life.
Casey Driskell, Superintendent
Casey is a graduate of Fairlawn High school and the Ohio State University where he majored in Construction Management. He has almost 10 years of experience in the field of Commercial Construction. Casey and his wife, Julia, along with their son, Reese, reside in Sidney which is also Casey’s hometown. Casey enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling with his family and playing and watching sports.
Kyle Knouff, Special Project Superintendent
Kyle Knouff grew up in Piqua, Ohio. Kyle is a graduate of Upper Valley Career Center where he took carpentry and continued his apprenticeship through ABC to obtain his journeyman. He has 15 years of commercial construction experience with special projects including healthcare and industrial work. He began his career as a laborer and worked his way through trades to become a superintendent. Kyle is married to his high school sweetheart,Olivia, and has three young children: Oakley, Kinslee, and Korbin. Kyle currently lives in Troy, Ohio and enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids play sports. Also, Kyle enjoys golfing in his free time and traveling to new places with his family.
Stephen Bowser, Project Manager
Stephen is originally from Modesto, California. He began working for a framing contractor right out of high school and has been working in commercial construction ever since. Stephen and his wife, Tricia, reside in Ludlow Falls along with their three children: Eve, Will and Vivian. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys fishing, hunting and vacationing with his family.
Jeff Tudor, Project Engineer
Jeff grew up in Dayton, and after high school joined the military where he served for 6 years. When he finished his time in the service, Jeff joined MCI Telecommunication, which later merged with Verizon. For the first 12 years with MCI, he worked as a technician, and the last 16 years as a project manager for large corporate accounts. After retiring with Verizon, he turned his attention to homeless veterans working with St. Vincent DePaul in Dayton, and then with American G.I. Forum in El Paso, Texas. Jeff’s experience with project management, and Level MB’s rapid growth brought him back to Troy in November 2018 working as a Project Engineer.
Jeff has two married daughters, and 8 amazing grandchildren. His free time consists of continuing his education working towards a Bachelors Degree in Social Work as sometime down the road he hopes to work with the homeless veteran population again. Jeff’s other favorite activities include volunteering with the USO at the Dayton International Airport, along with hiking, going to the gym, travel and enjoying time spent with family and friends.
